May is flying by and the adventures continue to roll on. For those of you who don't know, J and B are selling their house and re-locating out of Philadelphia. Don't ask me where to because even they don't know the answer to that question.
Selling a house is a lot of work. We have had armies of people in and out painting, fixing, cleaning, etc. Even in 4000+ sq. ft. it makes for a crowded house. Mat and I have been spending a lot of extra time away from the house to allow house showings and just to simply step away from the controlled. chaos.
This week we had a great week. We had our routine classes and we also went on ad adventure to a Camden Riversharks minor league baseball game. Aside from a very rainy day on Tuesday, the weather was generally beautiful.
Below you'll see some pictures from our adventures. Enjoy.

May Goals
In April I started working on sight words with Mat. She currently knows Matilda and Stop. I decided that if Mat was going to be walking around a bunch of intersecting streets then she needed to recognize and know a stop sign.
Goal 1: work on more sight words
Goal 2: have Matilda be able to get dressed and undressed by herself
Goal 3: work with Max and Matilda so Max can learn how to find Mat.

Already May
Wow I cannot believe it is May already. Matilda has been having a pretty good week. She has recently waged a war on naps. She'll choose to sing and dance (and sometimes even scream/cry) instead of take a nap. The latest war is over the music. The rule is that she is allowed to listen to music if she is laying down. She usually lasts until supercalifragilisticexpialidocious comes on. Then she's up dancing. Yesterday she didn't go to sleep until our wall home from nest and that was even after B and I cancelled nap due to lack of sleeping effort.
Right now it's 2:15pm and she is sound asleep. The "trick?" swimming class, running laps at LOVE park, walking to the library, walking to whole foods, walking to Logan Square and then running in circles at Logan Square. Aka A LOT of activity.
Tomorrow her old nanny from DC is coming to visit. I cannot wait for Ellen to see how much Matilda has grow and developed.
